I've thought about the possibility that, way back in the past when it all went to hell, if maybe the Gods had a choice to make that influenced whether to allow life to thrive on the planet, at the risk of those mortals sometimes falling to Chaos or just doing their own thing or even just not having the Gods physically present on the mortal world anymore.

I've wondered at the possibility that the Gods allowed for mortals to live and survive in the first place, with the coming of Chaos.
